Tigrinyaመዝሙር ዳዊት 41

¹ንድኻ ዚሐልየሉ ብጹእ እዩ፣ እግዚኣብሄር ብመዓልቲ መከራ የናግፎ።

²እግዚኣብሄር ይሕልዎ ብህይወትውን የንብሮ። ንሱ ኣብ ምድሪ ብጹእ ይኸውን። ናብ ፍቓድ ጸላእቱ ኣይተሕልፎን ኢኻ።

³ኣብ መደቀሲ ድናሴኡ ኸሎ፣ እግዚኣብሄር ይድግፎ። ንስኻ ብሕማሙ ንብዘላ ዓራቱ ተንጽፈሉ።

⁴ጐይታየ፣ በዲለካ እየ እሞ፣ ምሐረኒ፣ ንነፍሰይ ኣሕውያ፣ በልኩ።

⁵ጸላእተይ፣ መአዝ ኰን ኪመውት፧ መአዝሲ ስሙ ኺጠፍእ እዩ፧ ኢሎም ብአይ ክፉእ ይዛረቡ ኣለዉ።

⁶ሓደ እንተ በጽሓኒ፣ ብልግሚ ይዛረብ፣ ኣብ ልቡ ኽፍኣት ይእክብ፣ ምስ ወጸ ይዛረቦ።

^{7 - 8}ኵሎም ጸላእተይ ብአይ ንሓድሕዶም የሕሸዅሽኹ፣ ግብሪ እከይ ጠቢቕዎ ኣሎ፣ በጥ ኢሉ እዩ እሞ፣ ከቶ ኣይኪትንስእን እዩ፣ እናበሉ ብአይ ክፉእ ይምህዙ ኣለዉ።

⁹እወ፣ እቲ ዝእመኖ፣ እንጌራይ ዝበልዔ ፈታውየይ እኳ ሸዀናኡ ኣልዐለለይ።

¹⁰ንስኻ ግና፣ ጐይታየ፣ ምሐረኒ፣ ክፈድዮም ከኣ ኣተንስአኒ።

¹¹ጸላእተይ እንተ ዘይተዐወተለይ፣ በዚ ንስኻ ኸም ዝበሀግካኒ እፈልጥ አሎኹ።

¹²ንአይሲ ብንጽህናይ ትድግፈኒ፣ ኣብ ቅድሚ ገጽካ ኸኣ ንዘለአለም ተንብረኒ ኣሎኻ።

¹³እግዚኣብሄር፣ ኣምላኽ እስራኤል፣ ካብ ዘለአለም ንዘለአለም ይባረኽ። ኣሜን፣ ኣሜን።

¹ለችግረኛና ለምስኪን የሚያስብ ምስጉን ነው፤ እግዚአብሔር በክፉ ቀን ያድነዋል።

²እግዚአብሔር ይጠብቀዋል፥ ሕያውም ያደርገዋል፥ በምድር ላይም ያስመሰግነዋል፥ በጠላቶቹም እጅ አያሳልፈውም።

³እግዚአብሔር በደዌው አልጋ ሳለ ይረዳዋል፤ መኝታውን ሁሉ በበሽታው ጊዜ ያነጥፍለታል።

⁴እኔስ። አቤቱ ማረኝ፤ አንተን በድያለሁና ነፍሴን ፈውሳት አልሁ።

⁵ጠላቶቼም በላዬ ክፋትን ይናገራሉ። መቼም ይሞታል ስሙስ መቼ ይሻራል? ይላሉ።

⁶እኔን ለማየት ቢገባ ከንቱን ይናገራል፤ ልቡ ኃጢአትን ሰበሰበለት፤ ወደ ሜዳ ይወጣል ይናገራልም።

⁷በላዬ በመተባበር ጠላቶቼ ሁሉ ይሾካሾኩብኛል፥ በእኔ ላይም ክፋትን ያስባሉ።

⁸ክፉ ነገር መጣበት፤ ተኝቶአል ከእንግዲህ ወዲህ አይነሣም ይላሉ።

⁹ደግሞ የሰላሜ ሰው የታመንሁበት እንጀራዬን የበላ በእኔ ላይ ተረከዙን አነሣ።

¹⁰አንተ ግን አቤቱ፥ ማረኝ እመልስላቸውም ዘንድ አስነሣኝ።

¹¹ጠላቴ እልል አይልብኝምና ስለዚህ እንደ ወደድኸኝ አወቅሁ።

¹²እኔን ግን ስለ ቅንነቴ ተቀበልኸኝ፥ በፊትህም ለዘላለም አጸናኸኝ።

¹³ከዘላለም እስከ ዘላለም የእስራኤል አምላክ እግዚአሔር ይባረክ። አሜን አሜን።

EnglishPsalms 41

¹Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.

²The Lord protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.

³The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.

⁴I said, “Have mercy on me, Lord; heal me, for I have sinned against you.”

⁵My enemies say of me in malice, “When will he die and his name perish?”

⁶When one of them comes to see me, he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander; then he goes out and spreads it around.

⁷All my enemies whisper together against me; they imagine the worst for me, saying,

⁸“A vile disease has afflicted him; he will never get up from the place where he lies.”

⁹Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.

¹⁰But may you have mercy on me, Lord; raise me up, that I may repay them.

¹¹I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.

¹²Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.

¹³Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.
