Tigrinyaመዝሙር ዳዊት 58

¹ኣቱም ደቂ ሰብ፣ ስቕ ብምባልኩምዶ ጽድቂ ትዛረቡ፧ ሓቂዶኸ ትፈርዱ ኢኹም፧

²ኣብ ልብኹምስ እባ በደል ደአ ትብድሉ፣ ግፍዒ ኣእዳውኩም ኣብ ሃገር ትመዝኑ።

³ረሲአን ካብ ከርሲ ወላዲቶም ጀሚሮም ኣግለሱ፣ ሓሰውቲ ኻብ ማሕጸን ወላዲቶም ጀሚሮም ተጋገዩ።

^{4 - 5}ሕንዚ ተመን ዚመስል ሕንዚ ኣለዎም፣ ከምቲ ድምጺ ኣስማተኛታት፣ ናይቲ ፈላጥ ጠንቋሊ እኳ ኸይሰምዕ ኢሉ ኣእዛኑ ዚዐብስ ጸማም ተመን እዮም።

⁶ዎ ኣምላኽ፣ ኣስናኖም ኣብ ኣፎም ሰባብሮ፣ ጐይታየ፣ ኰራርምቲ ሽደናት ኣናብስ መዝሕቕ።

⁷ከም ዚዅዖ ማይ ይከዐዉ። ፍላጻታቱ እንተ ገተረን፣ ይጕደማ።

⁸ከምቲ ኪኸይድ ከሎ ዚመክኽ ኣረነ፣ ከምቲ ጸሓይ ዘይረአየ ቝላዕ ሰበይቲ ይኹኑ።

⁹ቈራርዕኩም ሓዊ ቐሸም ከይቀረቦ፣ ህቦብላ ንጥሉልን ንንዱድን ይመንጥሎ።

¹⁰ጻድቕ ንምፍዳይ ሕነ ርእዩ ኺሕጐስ፣ ኣእጋሩ ብደም ረሲእ ኪሕጸብ እዩ።

¹¹ሰባት ከኣ፣ ብሓቂ ንጻድቕሲ ፍረ ኣለዎ፣ ብሓቂ ኣብ ምድሪ ዚፈርድ ኣምላኽ ኣሎ፣ ኪብሉ እዮም።

Amharicመዝሙረ ዳዊት 58

¹በእውነት ጽድቅን ብትናገሩስ፥ የሰው ልጆች ሆይ፥ በቅን ትፈርዳላችሁ፤

²በልባችሁ በምድር ላይ ኃጢአትን ትሠራላችሁና፥ እጆቻችሁም ግፍን ይታታሉና።

³ኅጥኣን ከማኅፀን ጀምረው ተለዩ፤ ከሆድም ጀምረው ሳቱ፥ ሐሰትንም ተናገሩ።

⁴ቍጣቸው እንደ እባብ መርዝ ነው፥ እንደ ምድር አውሬም ጆሮዋ የተደፈነ ነው፥

⁵አዋቂ ሲደግምባት የአስማተኛውን ቃል እንደማትሰማ።

⁶እግዚአብሔር ጥርሳቸውን በአፋቸው ውስጥ ይሰብራል፤ እግዚአብሔር የአንበሶቹን መንጋጋቸውን ያደቅቃል።

⁷እንደሚፈስስ ውኃ ይቀልጣሉ፤ እስኪያደክማቸው ድረስ ፍላጾቹን ይገትራል።

⁸እንደሚቀልጥ ሰም ያልቃሉ፤ እሳት ወደቀች፥ ፀሐይንም አላዩአትም።

⁹እሾኻችሁ ሳይታወቅ በትር ሆነ፤ ሕያዋን ሳላችሁ በመዓቱ ይነጥቃችኋል።

¹⁰ጻድቅ በቀልን ባየ ጊዜ ደስ ይለዋል፤ በኃጢአተኛው ደምም እጁን ይታጠባል።

¹¹ሰውም። በእውነት ለጻድቅ ፍሬ አለው፤ በእውነት በምድር ላይ የሚፈርድ አምላክ አለ ይላል።

EnglishPsalms 58

¹Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge people with equity?

²No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth.

³Even from birth the wicked go astray; from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.

⁴Their venom is like the venom of a snake, like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,

⁵that will not heed the tune of the charmer, however skillful the enchanter may be.

⁶Break the teeth in their mouths, O God; Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions!

⁷Let them vanish like water that flows away; when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.

⁸May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along, like a stillborn child that never sees the sun.

⁹Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns— whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.

¹⁰The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.

¹¹Then people will say, “Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.”
