Tigrinyaመዝሙር ዳዊት 81

¹ንኣምላኽ፣ ነቲ ሓይልና፣ እልል በሉሉ፣ ንኣምላኽ ያእቆብ እልል በሉ።

²መዝሙር አልዕሉ፣ ከበሮን ጥዑም በገና ምስ መሰንቆን ኣቓንዩ።

^{3 - 4}እዚ ናይ እስራኤል ሕጊ፣ ናይ ኣምላኽ ያእቆብ ስርዓት እዩ እሞ፣ ብሰርቂ ወርሒ፣ ብምልኣት ወርሒ፣ ብመዓልቲ በዓልና መለኸት ንፍሑ።

⁵ካብ ምድሪ ግብጺ ኺወጽእ ከሎ፣ አብ ዮሴፍ ምስክር ገይሩ አቘሞ። ዘይፈልጦ ቛንቋ እሰምዕ አሎኹ፣

⁶ንመንኵቡ ኻብ ሰኽሚ ኣርሐቕክዎ፣ ኣእዳዉ ኻብ መጾሪ ኣቕሓ ተናገፋ።

⁷ብጸበባ አእዌኻ፣ ኣነውን ኣናገፍኩኻ፣ አብ ነጕዲ ተሰዊረ መለስኩልካ፣ ኣብ ማይ መሪባ ተዐዘብኩኻ።

⁸ዎ ህዝበይ፣ ክምስክረልካስ ስማዕ፣ ዎ እስራኤል፣ ኣየ እንተ ትሰምዓኒ።

⁹ካልእ ኣምላኽ አብ ማእከል ኣይኹን፣ ንኻልእ ኣምላኽውን ኣይትስገድ።

¹⁰ኣነ እግዚአብሄር፣ እቲ ኻብ ምድሪ ግብጺ ዘውጻእኩኻ ኣምላኽ እየ፣ አፍካ ሃህ አብል፣ ኣነውን ክመልኦ እየ።

¹¹ህዝበይ ግና ንድምጸይ ኣይሰምዖን፣ እስራኤል ድማ እሺ ኣይበለንን።

¹²ብምኽሪ ርእሶም ኪመላለሱስ፣ አብ ጽንዓት ልቦም ሐደግክዎም።

¹³አየ፣ ህዝበይ እንተ ዚሰምዓኒ፣ እስራኤልሲ ብመገደይ እንተ ዚኸይድ።

¹⁴ንጸላእቶም ቀልጢፈ መዋረድክዎም፣ ኢደይውን ናብ ተጻረርቶም ምመለስኩ።

¹⁵ንእግዚአብሄር ጸላእቱ ምተገዝእዎ ነይሮም፣ ዘመኖም ከኣ ንዘለአለም ምዀነ።

¹⁶ስብሒ ስርናይ መብላዕኩኻ፣ ካብ ከውሕስ መዓር መጽገብኩኻ ነይረ።

¹በረድኤታችን በእግዚአብሔር ደስ ይበላችሁ፥ ለያዕቆብም አምላክ እልል በሉ።

²ዝማሬውን አንሡ ከበሮንም ስጡ፥ ደስ የሚያሰኘውን በገና ከመሰንቆ ጋር፤

³በመባቻ ቀን በከፍተኛው በዓላችን ቀን መለከትን ንፉ፤

⁴ለእስራኤል ሥርዓቱ ነውና፥ የያዕቆብም አምላክ ፍርድ።

⁵ከግብጽ በወጣ ጊዜ ለዮሴፍ ምስክር አቆመው። ያላወቅሁትን ቋንቋ ሰማሁ።

⁶ጫንቃውን ከሸክም፥ እጆቹንም በቅርጫት ከመገዛት አራቅሁ።

⁷በመከራህ ጊዜ ጠራኸኝ አዳንሁህም፥ በተሰወረ ዐውሎም መለስሁልህ፥ በክርክር ውኃ ዘንድም ፈተንሁህ።

⁸ሕዝቤ ሆይ፥ስማኝ እነግርሃለሁም፤ እስራኤል ሆይ፥ እመሰክርልሃለሁ።

⁹አንተስ ብትሰማኝ ሌላ አምላክ አይሆንልህም፥ ለሌላ አምላክም አትሰግድም።

¹⁰ከግብጽ ምድር ያወጣሁህ እኔ እግዚአብሔር አምላክህ ነኝና፤ አፍህን አስፋ እሞላዋለሁም።

¹¹ሕዝቤ ግን ቃሌን አልሰሙኝም፥ እስራኤልም አላዳመጠኝም።

¹²እንደ ልባቸው ሥራ ተውኋቸው፥ በልባቸውም አሳብ ሄዱ።

¹³ሕዝቤስ ሰምቶኝ ቢሆን፥ እስራኤልም በመንገዴ ሄደው ቢሆን፤

¹⁴ጠላቶቻቸውን ፈጥኜ ባዋረድኋቸው ነበር፥ በሚያስጨንቋቸውም ላይ እጄን በጣልሁ ነበር፤

¹⁵የእግዚአብሔር ጠላቶችም በተገዙለት ነበር፥ ዘመናቸውም ለዘላለም በሆነ ነበር፤

¹⁶ከስንዴም ስብ ባበላቸው ነበር፥ ከዓለቱም ማር ባጠገባቸው ነበር።

Oh, That My People Would Listen

¹Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob!

²Begin the music, strike the timbrel, play the melodious harp and lyre.

³Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our festival;

⁴this is a decree for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

⁵When God went out against Egypt, he established it as a statute for Joseph. I heard an unknown voice say:

⁶“I removed the burden from their shoulders; their hands were set free from the basket.

⁷In your distress you called and I rescued you, I answered you out of a thundercloud; I tested you at the waters of Meribah.

⁸Hear me, my people, and I will warn you— if you would only listen to me, Israel!

⁹You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not worship any god other than me.

¹⁰I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.

¹¹“But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me.

¹²So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices.

¹³“If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways,

¹⁴how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes!

¹⁵Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.

¹⁶But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
