Tigrinyaመዝሙር ዳዊት 121

¹ኣዒንተይ ናብ ኣኽራን ኤልዕል ኣሎኹ። ረዲኤተይ ካበይ እዩ ዚመጸኒ፧

²ረዲኤተይሲ ኻብቲ ሰማይን ምድርን ዝገበረ እግዚኣብሄር እዩ ዚመጸኒ።

³ንሱ ንእግርኻ ኣየሰናኽልን፣ ሓላዊኻ ኣይታኸስን።

⁴እንሆ፣ እቲ ንእስራኤል ዚሕሉ ኣይታኸስን ኣይድቅስን እዩ።

⁵እግዚኣብሄር ሓላዊኻ እዩ፣ እግዚኣብሄር ኣብ የማነይቲ ኢድካ ጽላልካ እዩ።

⁶ጸሓይ ብመዓልቲ፣ ወርሒውን ብለይቲ ኣይኪወቕዓካን እዩ።

⁷እግዚኣብሄር ካብ እከይ ዘበለ ኺሕልወካ፣ ንነፍስኻ ኺሕልዋ እዩ።

⁸እግዚኣብሄር ካብ ሕጂ ንዘለአለም ምውጻእካን ምእታውካን ኪሕሉ እዩ።

¹ዓይኖቼ ወደ ተራሮች አነሣሁ፤ ረዳቴ ከወዴት ይምጣ?

²ረዳቴ ሰማይና ምድርን ከሠራ ከእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ ነው።

³እግርህን ለመናወጥ አይሰጠውም፤ የሚጠብቅህም አይተኛም።

⁴እነሆ፥ እስራኤልን የሚጠብቅ አይተኛም አያንቀላፋምም።

⁵እግዚአብሔር ይጠብቅሃል፥ እግዚአብሔርም በቀኝ እጅህ በኩል ይጋርድሃል።

⁶ፀሐይ በቀን አያቃጥልህም ጨረቃም በሌሊት።

⁷እግዚአብሔር ከክፉ ሁሉ ይጠብቅሃል፥ ነፍስህንም ይጠብቃታል።

⁸ከዛሬ ጀምሮ እስከ ዘላለም እግዚአብሔር መውጣትህና መግባትህን ይጠብቃል።

¹I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?

²My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

³He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;

⁴indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

⁵The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

⁶the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

⁷The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;

⁸the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
