¹ካብ ንእስነተይ ጀሚሮም ብዙሕ ጊዜ ኣጻበቡለይ፣ ይበል እስራኤል፣

²ካብ ንእስነተይ ጀሚሮም ብዙሕ ጊዜ ኣጻበቡለይ፣ ግናኸ ኣይሰዐሩንን።

³ሓረስቶት ኣብ ዝባነይ ሐረሱ፣ ትልምታቶም ኣንውሑ።

⁴እግዚኣብሄር ጻድቕ እዩ፣ ኣግማድ ረሲኣን በተኸ።

⁵ንጽዮን ዚጸልኡ ዅላቶም ይሕፈሩ፣ ንድሕሪትውን ይመለሱ።

^{6 - 7}ከምቲ ሳዕሪ ናሕሲ፣ ዓጻዲ ኢዱ መሊኡ ዘይዐትረሉ፣ መልዓል እንዳእቲውን መሊኡ ዘይሐቚፈሉ፣ ከይዐበየ ዚሃጕጕ ይኹኑ።

⁸ሐለፍቲ መገዲ ድማ፣ በረኸት እግዚኣብሄር ኣብ ልዕሌኹም ይኹን፣ ብስም እግዚኣብሄር ንባርኸኩም ኣሎና፣ ኣይብሉን።

¹እስራኤል። ከትንሽነቴ ጀምሮ ብዙ ጊዜ ተሰለፉብኝ ይበል፤

²ከትንሽነቴ ጀምሮ ብዙ ጊዜ ተሰለፉብኝ፤ ነገር ግን አላሸነፉኝም።

³ኃጢአተኞች በጀርባዬ ላይ መቱኝ፥ ኃጢአታቸውንም አስረዘሙአት።

⁴እግዚአብሔር ጻድቅ ነው፤ የኃጢአተኞችን አንገታቸውን ቈረጠ።

⁵ጽዮንን የሚጠሉ ሁሉ ይፈሩ፥ ወደ ኋላቸውም ይመለሱ።

⁶በሰገነት ላይ እንደ በቀለ ሣር፥ ሳይነቀል እንደሚደርቅ፥

⁷ለሚያጭደው እጁን፥ ነዶዎቹን ለሚሰበስብ እቅፉን እንደማይሞላ ይሁኑ።

⁸በመንገዱም የሚያልፉ። የእግዚአብሔር በረከት በእናንተ ላይ ይሁን፤ በእግዚአብሔር ስም እንመርቃችኋለን አይሉም።

¹“They have greatly oppressed me from my youth,” let Israel say;

²“they have greatly oppressed me from my youth, but they have not gained the victory over me.

³Plowmen have plowed my back and made their furrows long.

⁴But the Lord is righteous; he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.”

⁵May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame.

⁶May they be like grass on the roof, which withers before it can grow;

⁷a reaper cannot fill his hands with it, nor one who gathers fill his arms.

⁸May those who pass by not say to them, “The blessing of the Lord be on you; we bless you in the name of the Lord.”
